He was predeceased by: his parents, Fern Grove and Allen Grove; his son Steven; his great grandchild Aidan Curry; his siblings-in-law, Meredith Grove, Eileen Grove and Wilbur Fink; and his nephew Robert Fink.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice; his children, Jim Grove (Cheryl), Ann Curry (Bob) of Tecumseh and Linda Barnas (Chuck) of Lincoln; his siblings, Don Grove of Plattsmouth, Wayne Grove of Spokane, WA and June Bartels (Ray) of Elk Creek; his sister-in-law Betty Fink of Louisville, KY; his grandchildren, Hope Grove, Kelly Hasselbalch (Bret), Katie West (Brian), Jeff Curry (Jennifer), Clayton Grove (Kelsey), Erin Thuman (Jon) and Anthony Barnas; his great grandchildren, Krysten Winslow (Michael), Tabitha Herron (Dustin), Jayson West, Bryan West, Lynn, Laci, Lexi, Levi Hasselbalch, Kolton Grove, Brayden Wilcox, Chance Harre, Bryson, Maddie Thuman, Ansley and Bryn Curry; and his great great grandchildren, Carter, Beau Winslow, Bryleigh Moxley, Emery, Kamryn Herron and Robert West. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
