She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Hardin and Frances Hardin (Bergan); her grandson Joshua Parrish; her sister Eva Wenzl; her siblings-in-law, Rev. Ernest, Lois Bartels, Rev. Harry, Ardyce Bartels and Loren Bartels; and her nieces, Sandra and Patty.
She is survived by: her husband Lavern R. Bartels of Tecumseh; her children, Steven Bartels (Jennifer) of Tecumseh, Scott Bartels (Michelle) of Lincoln, Eric Bartels (Rona) of Tecumseh, Angela Haussler of Lincoln and Jane Osborne of Pawnee City; her siblings, Malcom Hardin (Betty) and Alta Gustafson; and her siblings-in-law, Jim Wenzl, Sally Bartels, Dwayne, Janene Bartels and Ruth Bartels. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.
