He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Walters and Elizabeth Walters; his brother Erwan Walters; and his father-in-law Jon Buerstetta. He is survived by: his son Jonah Benjamin (Jordan Walters); his wife Rachel Buerstetta; his daughters, Emma Walters of Tecumseh, Charlene Groeling (Keith) of Pawnee City and Marlene Witt (Ron) of Lincoln; his brother Troy Walters, Jr. (Cindy) of Elk Creek; his mother-in-law Ronna Buerstetta of Tecumseh; and his sister-in-law Susan Colson of Lincoln. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wherry Mortuary (202 N 3rd St, Tecumseh, NE 68450). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church (333 Jackson St, Tecumseh, NE 68450).
