He is survived by: his children, John Nelsen (Raetha) of Alma, Joan Bliss (Bayard "Bo") of Port Royal and Jim Nelsen of Craig, Nebraska; and his grandchildren, Joanna Clark (Justin), Jacob Nelsen (Trista), Samantha Babcock (Travis), John C. Nelsen, Sophie Meyer (Cole), Evie Smith, Jessica Weeks (Derrick), Rachel Wheeler (Gabe), Nina Dolan, Richard Nelsen and Jerrod Nelsen. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law; and a host of other relatives and friends.
