He was predeceased by: his parents, Lena Lang (Fencl) and Leo Lang (Barbara); and his granddaughter Heidi Schlegelmilch Alger. He is survived by: his children, Marcia Schlegelmilch (Jay) of York and Mike Lang (Cheryl) of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Jamie Schlegelmilch (Jessica) of Kearney and Jessica Lang of Lincoln; his great grandchildren, Parker, Jack Schlegelmilch of Kearney, Lena Schlegelmilch of Lincoln, Ben, Marjory Lee Alger of DeWitt, Mackenzie Lindhurst of Lincoln and Jaden Lang of Lincoln; and his close friend Sharon Anderson of Elm Creek.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to The Table Rock Historical Society or the Malcolm United Methodist Church.
