He was predeceased by: his parents, William Witty and Janice Witty (Miesbach). He is survived by: his children, Gretchen Kapur (Rahul) of Los Angeles, CA, William T. Witty of Syracuse and Megan Witty of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Annabelle, Emily Kapur, Carter and Daniel Lowe; and his sister Dianne Adkins of Fort Morgan, CO. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
