He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hauschild and Phyllis Hauschild (Specht); his wife Mimi; and his father-in-law Robert Eilers. He is survived by: his daughters, Heidi Bernard (Ted) and Elicia Hauschild; his grandsons, Nicholas and Andrew Bernard; his siblings, Harry (Linda Hauschild), Bruce (Sasha Hauschild) and Lori Hauschild-Crosson; his close friend Susan Meyer; his mother-in-law Marion Eilers; his sister-in-law Ann Faber; and his niece Alexia Cruz (Joe, family: Natalie Hauschild, Brooke Faber).
Memorials are suggested to St. John's Lutheran Church in Otoe or the Avoca Cemetery.
