He was predeceased by: his parents, David and Lois (Grubaugh); his wife Anna Mae of Mary's Catholic Church; his daughter Jane Catherine; and his sister-in-law Jeannette Powell.
He is survived by: his sons, Joshua Powell (Angie) of Lincoln and Grant Powell (Jennifer) of Gretna; his grandchildren, Oscar, Hattie Powell, Maxwell and Lillian Powell; and his brothers, Douglas Powell of Denton and Jeffrey Powell (Rita) of Warsaw, IN. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
