He was predeceased by: his parents, Curven V. Gearhart and Isabelle Gearhart (Bunting); his wife Wilma M. Wilson; and his siblings, Curven Gearhart, William Gearhart and Vicki Mersiowsky.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Gearhart, Jr. of Syracuse, NE and Christopher Gearhart (Kris) of Papillion, NE; his grandson Michael Gearhart; and his sister Linda Fonzo (Steve) of Palm Coast, FL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
