He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kreifels and Florence Kreifels (Harris); his wife Janet; and his siblings, Luella Stutheit (Ernie), Robert Kreifels, Raymond Kreifels (Arlene), Cathleen Chrastil (Roy), Harlan Kreifels (Irma Jean), John Kreifels (Rosie), Marion Kreifels and Francis Kreifels (Jean).
He is survived by: his children, Rick Kreifels of Syracuse, Deb Landwehr (Randy) of Syracuse, Doug Kreifels (Sheila) of Cary, NC, Brad Kreifels (Julie) of Downers Grove, IL and Pat Kreifels (Darlene) of Lincoln; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Jean Kreifels of Lincoln, Mary Ellen Kreifels of Omaha, Janice Meadows of Syracuse and Lucy Kreifels of Syracuse. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
