It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie B DeRoe of Syracuse, Nebraska, who passed away on March 14, 2023, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Ullsperger and Mathilda Ullsperger (Gottwald); her husband Herman DeRoe; and her brothers, Raymond Ullsperger and Leo Ullsperger.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth DeRoe (Beverley) of Syracuse and Cheryl Milder (Francis) of Nebraska City; her grandchildren, Martin DeRoe (Shelley Alexander) of Douglas, Jill Marie Hartman (Kevin) of Douglas, Craig DeRoe of Douglas, Rachel Anderson of Douglas and Christopher Callahan (Holly) of Eyota, MN; her great grandchildren, Terra Marie Hartman, Wesley Anderson (Kacey Herring), Samuel Callahan, Kaylee Henne (Clayton), Mallorie Macchi (John), Wyatt DeRoe (Shaylie Brown), Benjamin Callahan (Hannah) and Joseph Callahan; and her sister-in-law Agnes Ullsperger. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials are suggested to St. Paulinus Catholic Church or St. Martin's Catholic Church.
