Luetta D. M. Bruns Obituary

We bid farewell to Luetta D. M. Bruns of Syracuse, Nebraska, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 16, 2025 at the age of 88. Luetta touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Kruse and Hulda Kruse (Blinde); her husband Harvey Bruns; her brother Fred Kruse; and her niece Jennifer Kruse.

She is survived by: her daughters, Jody Bruns of Syracuse, Lana Bruns (Bill Ramsey) of Kiowa and Dawn Sugden (Rusty) of Seward; her grandchildren, Karsten Bruns, Addilyn Sugden, Axton Sugden and Acelyn Sugden; her brother Rinehart Kruse (Alice); and her sisters-in-law, Bernice Hale and Sue Bruns. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Home - Syracuse Chapel (644 Park St, Syracuse, NE 68446). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church (306 N 1st St, Cook, NE 68329).

Memorials are suggested to the Syracuse Rescue Squad or Grace Lutheran Church.
