She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl M. Harris and Betty Jean Harris; her husbands, Jim Scurto Sr. and Ron; her siblings, Betty Ann and Larry; her granddaughter Stephanie; and her great grandchild Asher.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth (Roseanne) of Garland, Annette Block (Rick) of Unadilla, Keith (Gail) of Lincoln, Jim Jr. (Jennifer) of Waverly and Loretta Teixeira (George) of Syracuse; her brother Bobby Evans (Jennifer) of Deepwater, MO; and her siblings-in-law, Donald Nichols of Jacksonville, NC, Audrey Harris of Omaha, AR and Cecilia Kastens (Calvin) of Springfield. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other family and friends.
Karen has requested memorials go to the Luther Memorial Church or the Dialysis Center of Lincoln.
