In loving memory of Jeanette Palmer of Syracuse, Nebraska, who departed this world on November 5, 2024 at the age of 72. Jeanette leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Wiechert and Dorothy Wiechert (Haase); her husband Duane Palmer; her children, Garret Palmer (Lisa) and Shelby Patton (Nate); her grandsons, Dexter and Isaac Patton; her siblings, Bob Wiechert (Alice), Bill Wiechert (Rose) and Annette Wiechert; and her siblings-in-law, Gordon Hopp (Shari) and Donna Palmer. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cook Community Building (120 W Main St, Cook, NE 68329).

“I've known Jeanette since we were 9th graders at University High School in Lincoln. We were part of a great "group" that we called TG (which stood for "The Group)." In fact, we called her "Weaky." We were classmates all through high school and TG would get together from time-to-time since graduation. She was so intelligent and quite a lovely person.
