She was predeceased by: her parents, Nick Brixius and Emma Brixius (Moeller); her husband Joe Hawkins; her brothers, Cecil Brixius (Margaret), Earl Brixius (Nona) and Donald Brixius (Lavina); and her brothers-in-law, Jesse Hawkins, Charles Hawkins (Jackie) and Lee Phillips.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Brandfass (Chris) of Lakeland and Ronald Hawkins (Diane) of Syracuse; her grandson Tyler Hawkins of Syracuse; her sisters-in-law, Margaret Hawkins of Huntingdon, Tennessee and Lena Phillips of Cochran, Georgia; and her friends, Brad Berner (Robin), Brandon (Becca), Hadyn, Mason Berner, Chantelle (Aaron), Jackson, Presley Jo and Carter Schroeder.
