We are sad to announce that on September 7, 2020, at the age of 88, Gladys Vrana (Syracuse, Nebraska) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Makovicka and Evelyn Makovicka (Chmelka); her husband Don; her daughter Mary Elizabeth; her grandmother Mary Makovicka; her son-in-law Bob Bruns; her siblings, Dorothy Bye and Robert Makovicka; and her parents-in-law, Eddy, Vivian Soucek, Jerry Vrana and David Gene Vrana.
She is survived by: her daughters, Katherine Kay Bruns, Laurie Ann Deseck (Jim), Rebecca Jo Antes (Doug) and MaryBeth McWilliams (David); her grandchildren, Amy Frederick (Tim), Corie Gorton (Kirk), Kristine Stolley (Andrew), Matthew Deseck (Danielle), Jeni Leefers (Mike), Joshua Antes, Tim Antes (Carlie), Sarah Kelly (Matt), Ethan McWilliams (Alicia) and Anthony McWilliams (Madison); and her parents-in-law, Tony Vrana (Elaine), Janice Sorge (Larry) and Sondra Vrana. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
