He is survived by: his wife Kay of Nebraska City; his daughters, Sarah Hotsenpillar (Tim) of Tekamah, Amanda Nannen (Cathy) of Omaha and Lydia Nannen of Nebraska City; his grandchildren, Joshua Hotsenpillar and Anna Hotsenpillar; his brothers, Dick Nannen of Fremont and Niel Nannen (Carol) of Lincoln; and his cousin Sue Hoppe (Bill) of Lincoln. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
