He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Johns and Edna Johns (Haeffner); his wife Margaret Pieper; his daughter-in-law Cindy Johns; his parents-in-law, Edward and Anna Pieper; and his brothers, Roland Johns and Myron Johns.
He is survived by: his children, Alan Johns of Lincoln, David Johns of Fairbanks, AK, Dale Johns (Darla) of Syracuse, Karen Marshall (Stan) of Young, AZ, Sharon Thorne (Kevin) of Nebraska City and Dean Johns (Rose) of Abilene, KS; his brothers, Duane Johns (Maryln) and James Johns (Karen); and his sister-in-law Nancy Parker. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren; 17 Great Grandchildren.
