It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darla Denise Owens of Syracuse, Nebraska, born in Hayward, California, who passed away on April 12, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert E. Bowersmith and Emma I. Hall (Faler); her daughter Donnell Owens; her grandson William Owens; her daughter-in-law Lora Owens; her sister Karen Bray; and her sister-in-law Cindy Bowersmith.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Owens (Kris) of Hubert, NC, Raymond Owens (Naomi Patterson) of Dunbar, NE, Crystal Fossberg (Lucas) of Lincoln, NE and Stephen Owens (Danielle) of Syracuse, NE; and her siblings, Everett Bowersmith (Sherri) of Unadilla, NE and Dale Bowersmith of Nebr. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
