Verly M. Hofmann Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2020, at the age of 101, Verly M. Hofmann of Sutton, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends can send flowers and condolences in memory of the loved one. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ole Hansen and Mary Hansen (Hanson); her husband Wilfred Hofmann; her son Richard Hofmann; and her siblings, Clara Anderson, Rose Anderson, Pearl Salmen, Gladys Troudson, Leo Hansen, Neal Hansen, Leonard Hansen, Ernest Hansen and Vincent Hansen.
She is survived by: her son Delary Hofmann (Sheila) of Sutton, NE; her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Hofmann of Sutton, NE; and her grandchildren, Todd Hofmann, Tammie Steinhauer (Craig), Tom Hofmann (Lynn), Gwenda Mau (Brent), Jesse Hofmann (Cara) and Ashley Thompson (Jeffrey). She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-granddaughters.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be directed to Emmanuel Reformed Church in Sutton, NE. With the continued spread of COVID-19, masks and social distancing are requested and highly recommended. Verly was born September 9, 1919, in Clay County, NE to Ole and Mary (Hanson) Hansen.
