He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin J. Griess and Esther Griess (Griess); his daughter Jennifer Spady; his in-laws, Gideon and Verna Huber; his niece Brenda Hahn; and his brothers-in-law, Allen Huber, Allen Griess and Duane Dolezal.
He is survived by: his wife Talitha Huber; his children, LaRoy (Dixie) and Sandra Dunning (Paul); his sister LeAnna Huber; his sisters-in-law, Luella Griess (Bob), Sinobia Dolezal, Salome Nuss (Jerry) and Gloria Ellis (Dave); and his stepmother-in-law Marie Huber. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
