He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman V. Thompson and Margaret Thompson (Foster); his brother Norman; and his siblings-in-law, Stephanie Harms and Mike Penner.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Paulette Matya; his sons, Steven (Darla) of McCook, Nicholaus (Heather) of Papillion and Jeffrey (Ashley) of Sutton; his sisters, Stephanie Penner and Dawn Haymart (Don) of Aurora; his sisters-in-law, Mary Thompson of Alta Vista, KS, Laurie Pfeifer (Jim) and Vicki Pfeifer (Tom) of Aurora; and his grandchildren, Sydney, Hannah, Abigail, Piper and Skye.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family or to the Sutton American Legion Scholarship Fund.
