With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leo E Griess of Sutton, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 28, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ephraim Griess and Cecelia Griess (Huber); his sister Irene Heser; his brother-in-law Lawrence Heser; and his cousins, Raymond S. Griess, Dennis Huber, Dorothy Hofmann, Donald R. Griess and Kay Hoffman.
He is survived by: his close friend Dorothy Hoffman of Hastings, NE; his cousins, DeLores Lohman of Albuquerque, NM, Carol Lind of Polk, NE, LeRoy Griess (Inez) of Sutton, NE, Loren Huber (Laura) of Sutton, NE and Ardell Griess (Linda) of Sutton, NE; and also Merle Hoffman of Juniata, NE.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Sutton Community Home Foundation.
