He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Ulmer and Christine Ulmer (Ackerman); his daughter Mary Ulmer; his brother Dean Ulmer; his siblings-in-law, Lowell Houts and Janice Ulmer; and also, Ralph and Olive Houts (Stutz).
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Houts of Sutton, NE; his children, Michelle Kohmetcher (Paul) of Lawrence, NE, Marcy Miles (Bob) of Omaha, NE, Paul Ulmer (Connie) of Broken Bow, NE and Jonathan Ulmer (Ann) of St George, KS; his grandchildren, Becky Kohmetscher of Lincoln, NE, Brian Kohmetscher of Lawrence, NE, Cory Miles (Nancy) of Gretna, NE, Ashley Miles of Omaha, NE, Garrett Ulmer (Emily) of Omaha, NE, Cole Ulmer of Lincoln, NE, Nevaeh and Zaden Ulmer of St. George, KS; his great grandchildren, Rylee and Bentley Miles of Gretna, NE.; his brothers, LoRayne Ulmer of Henderson, NE and Kenneth Ulmer (Sue) of St. Louis, MO; and his siblings-in-law, Wanda Ulmer of Lincoln, NE, Bonnie Houts of Detroit Lakes, MN and Charlie Houts of Las Vegas, NV. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends, and family members.
