He was predeceased by: his parents, William Borders and Ruth Borders (Austin); his brother Randy Borders; and his nephews, Cory and Blake.
He is survived by: his siblings, Scott Borders (Carol) of Scottsbluff, Steve Borders (Gina) of Sutton, Dee Dee Downing (Dale) of Broken Bow and Laurie Sheridan (Barry) of Sutton; his nieces and nephews, Mindy, Kea, Brandi, Jennifer, Stephanie, Chantil, Ryan and Nick; and his pet Haley.
