She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd M. Byrkit and Emma Byrkit (Neumann); her husband Kenneth D. Kauk; her siblings, Kenneth, Don, Ervin Byrkit and Wilma Monson; her daughter-in-law JoEllen Poel Kauk; and her granddaughter Joanna Kauk.
She is survived by: her children, David (Ann) of Saronville, NE, Mark Kauk (Melissa) of Orange City, IA and Nancy Klauschie (Dave) of Omaha, NE; and her grandchildren, Emily Mouw (Nick), Nathan Kauk (Blaire), Sarah Dobson (Matt), Nathan Poel (Anna), Daniel Poel (Randa), David Poel (Briana), Trevor Kauk (Gabrielle), Dallas Durick (Joe), Lyndon Klauschie (Jess) and Annalise Orr (Austin). She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
