She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton Peterson and Irene Peterson (Alfs); her husband Gordon Gowen; her children, Keith Gowen, Karen Butler and Kim Wilson; and her sisters, Bonnie (Ben Nelson) and Shirley (John Powell).
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Berkshire of Ralston, NE and Kolleen Whaley (Greg) of Papillion, NE; and her children-in-law, Wanda Kracl (Mike) of O'Neill, NE and Mark Butler (Judy) of Holdredge, NE. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
