He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Hoffman and Esther Hoffman (Orness); his son Gary; his wife Helen Bromwich (Nebola); his stepson Willis Bromwich; and his brother-in-law John Nebola.

He is survived by: his former wife Marlene Schroeder; his family, Willis, Robert, Rodney, Kim and Stacy; his children, Bryan Hoffman (Diane), Galen Hoffman (Kelly) and Rita Schueth (Dennis); his stepchildren, Robert Bromwich, Rodney Bromwich (Kim), Kim Henning (Mark) and Stacy Foster (Matt); his brothers, Rich Hoffman (Trudy), Bob Hoffman (Kay) and Mike Hoffman (Deb); and his grandchildren, Beau, Brock, Corey, Breane, Ashley, Jarod, Natasha, Madeline, Mitchell, Colbey, Kanai, Michael, Lauren and Matthew. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family to be designated for a special project that was important to Don.
