Lee Hoatson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lee Hoatson in Sutherland, Nebraska, born in Hershey, Nebraska, who passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hoatson and Dorothy Hoatson; his brother Layne; and his siblings-in-law, Frank Brown and Sharon Rice.
He is survived by: his children, Jodi Lee of Omaha, Neb. and Jeffrey Scott (Lee) of Shelby, Neb.; his wife Barb; his grandsons, Jake, Max and Mickey; his brothers, Larry (Barb) and Loren (Judy); and his siblings-in-law, Deb Brinker (Bill), Sonja Brown and Bill Rice. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (410 Poplar St, Sutherland, NE 69165). The military honors was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fort McPherson National Cemetery (12004 S Spur 56a, Maxwell, NE 69151).
