He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Menke and Dolores Menke (Schroer); and his siblings, Jim Menke and Janet Reinsch. He is survived by: his wife Marie Daake of Mary's Catholic Church; his children, Rev. Andrew Menke of Washington, D. C., Sara Shea (Ryan) of Wamego, Phillip Menke (Erin) of Manassas and Jill Vander Woude (Patrick) of Nokesville, Virginia; his grandchildren, Caleb, Joseph, Tony, Katherine Shea, Edward, Leo, Ava, James, Bruno, Claire Menke, Liam, Andrew, Lucy, Aidan, Seamus, Dominic and Monica Vander Woude; and his siblings, Linda Kessler of Lincoln, Ron Drudik (Janet) of Hastings and Arlan Drudik (Sally) of Nelson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a great many friends.
