With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Don Calahan (Superior, Nebraska), born in Nampa, Idaho, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 24, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Don Calahan to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Calahan and Ruby Calahan (Young); his children, Scott and Lisa Parkhurst (Erin); his grandchildren, Lane Ough and Trinity Parkhurst; and his half-sisters, Elizabeth Clark and Vera Crow.
He is survived by: his children, Vicki Williams (Robert) of Superior and Bruce Calahan (Jean) of Utica; his daughter-in-law Nancy Calahan of Chandler, AZ; his grandchildren, Stephanie Thayer (Mark), Dan Williams (Becky Matulka), Joel Calahan (Sarah), Nathaniel Calahan (Theresa), Amy Rust (Jacob), Melissa Calahan-Vintonyuk (Anton), Katie Calahan (Jesse Millspaugh), John Calahan (Autumn), Becky Calahan (Godfrey Lim) and Emilee Calahan; his great grandchildren, Wyatt Thayer (Nicole), Mackinley Sis (Tristan), Ezra Calahan, Silas Calahan, Henry Rowland, Nathaniel Calahan, Willimena Calahan, Maxwell Rust, Miles Rust, Ryan Gonzalez, Matthew Vintonyuk, Craig Bennett, Zachary Bennett, Henry Millspaugh and Donny Lim; and his great great grandchildren, Laramie Thayer and Emerson Sis.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM.
