It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Donald Pierce of Sumner, Nebraska, who passed away on October 30, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Pierce and Grace Pierce (Lahm); his sister Mary; and his wife Marjorie. He is survived by: his children, Margene Bauer (Russ), Richard Pierce (Janna), Ronald Pierce (Brenda), Marilyn Crouse (Lynn) of Hutchinson, KS, Marianne Pierce and Randall Pierce (Jean). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and their spouses; 12 great grandchildren; one sister; four brothers and their spouses; two sisters-in-law; and, many relatives and friends.
Social distancing and face masks are encouraged.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are kindly suggested to the Sumner Rescue Unit, United Church of Sumner, Sumner American Legion Post 41, or KJLT Radio Station in North Platte.
