He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan George "Hap" and Mary Arbuthnot (Noble); and his brother Sidney "Sid Ray" Arbuthnot. He is survived by: his sisters, Nancy Myatt of West Jefferson, NC and Martha Gill (Frank) of Patterson, California.; and his children, Yvonne Contreras (Steve) of Escalon, CA, Teresa Arbuthnot of Sonora, CA, Ina Arbuthnot of Sumner, NE, Tila Kucera (Jake) of Litchfield, NE, MaryAnn Hollenbeck (Dennis) of Plattsmouth, NE. and George Arbuthnot Jr. (Stephanie) of Sumner, NE. He is also survived by 22 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, extended family.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sumner Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers and monetary donations, the family ask that you spend time in nature with family and enjoy "the ride" as he did.
