He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeramiah Patrick (J. P.) and Sophie Murphy (Kaup); his wife Edith Goldfuss; his son Daniel; and his sisters, Betty Ann and Mary.
He is survived by: his children, Frank, Brian and Nancy Stovall (Colin); his daughter-in-law Joyce (Mike); his grandchildren, Kory (Sally), Jesse (Jodee) and Krystal Baysinger (Scott); his great grandchildren, Mikaela, Axton, Corbin and Gracie; and his siblings, Cornelius, Henry (Helen), James (Cherie), John (Alessandra), Sophie Ingraham, Maureen, Jane LaHood (Tom), Eileen Denning and Rita Murphy.
