The memory of Rosella Julia Gabriel of Stromsburg, Nebraska, who passed away on April 2, 2025 at the age of 92, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Andrew and Alberta Cerny (Glaubitz); and her siblings, Alvin Cerny, Julius Jr. Cerny, Nicholas Cerny, Irene Schmid, Dorothy Czarnick and Vera Beck.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Gabriel (Nikki) of Sheldon, IA, Juliana Gabriel Kelley (Kurt) of Chelsea, IA, Chris Gabriel of Osceola and Andrew Gabriel of Osceola; and her siblings, David Cerny of Osceola, Alberta Novacek (Gordon) of Colorado and Mary Ann Way of Columbus. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and at 6:00 PM at the St. Vincent Catholic Church (751 S Nance St, Osceola, NE 68651). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Osceola Cemetery.
