She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Anderson and Eva Anderson (Sandin); her husband Laurel Borden; her children-in-law, Marvel Borden and Jay Peterson; and her great grandchild Izac Johnston.

She is survived by: her children, Sharon Noyd (Perry) of Stromsburg, Rev. Murry Johnston (TK) of Stromsburg, Pamela Johnson (Marlowe) of Stromsburg, Jacqueline Peterson of Marquette, Brian Borden (Judy) of Holdrege, Scott Borden of Johnson Lake, Darla Bergman (Joel) of Loomis, Jon Borden (Terry) of Alma and Michael Borden (Rhonda) of Holdrege; and her sister Yvonnne Stauber of Benedict. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
