She was predeceased by: her parents, Jewell Matlock and Katherine Matlock (Kleinholz); her husband Morris Daniel Nielsen; her son Daniel; her siblings, Delbert, Maynard, Harlan, Gary Matlock (Billie) and Luverne Jensen; her parents-in-law, Hans and Ruth Nielsen; her siblings-in-law, Milas, Leland Peterson, Marian, Rex Obermier and Marjorie Schmoker; her brother Clarence; her sister-in-law Betty Nielsen; and her niece Kelly Matlock.
She is survived by: her son Lanny Nielsen (Dianne) of Stromsburg; her grandchildren, Sunshine Metschke (Corey) of Lincoln, Eric Nielsen (Nikki) of Adel, IA, Johanna Nielsen of Stromsburg and Rachel Nielsen of Stromsburg; her great grandchildren, Luke, Samuel, Levi Metschke, Bennett, Kaed, Cameron Nielsen and Jacob Nielsen; her sister-in-law Rosie Matlock of Thayer; her brother Francis Matlock (Tammy) of York; her siblings-in-law, Joey Jensen of York, Armand Schmoker of Osceola, Barb Matlock of Country Club and Phyllis Fusby (Rich) of Kearney; and her niece Billie Flick (Jeff Worswick). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Evangelical Covenant Church (103 6th St, Stromsburg, NE 68666). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Evangelical Covenant Church in Stromsburg.
