Frances Tonniges Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2019, at the age of 96, Frances Tonniges (Stromsburg, Nebraska) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick David and Frances Belle Shockey (Bittinger); her husband Virgil Richard Tonniges; and her son Allen. She is survived by: her children, Duane Tonniges of Polk, Daryl Tonniges of Bradshaw, Brian Tonniges (Kim) of York and Cheryl Blasé (Dwight) of Grand Island; her daughter-in-law Cindy Tonniges of Doniphan; and her brother-in-law Dale Tonniges (Harriett) of Staplehurst. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the family, Midwest Covenant Home in Stromsburg, Trinity Lutheran Church, or Polk Fire and Rescue.
