In loving memory of Elaine Kathleen Westring of Stromsburg, Nebraska, who departed this world on January 22, 2025 at the age of 94. Elaine leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Edward and Pearl Ann Nansel (Taylor); and her husband Jim. She is survived by: her children, Jerry Westring (Joann) of Stromsburg, Dana Westring (Trevor Potter) of Marshall, VA and Jill Westring of Stromsburg; her granddaughters, Ashley Prochaska (Shawn) of Stromsburg and Taylor Bender (Nathan) of Humphrey; her great grandchildren, Halsey, Hayes Prochaska, Emma and Easton Bender; her sister Mary Nilsson (John) of Lawton, OK; and her niece Karna Bertucci (Martin). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Lutheran Church in Swede Home (950 Co Rd 129, Stromsburg, NE 68666).
