She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Leo and Vivian Doris Knerr (Dornburgh); her daughter Jodi; and her siblings, Nola Jean, Leonard and Chuck.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald Lee Sperling of Stromsburg; her sons, James of York and Jeremy (Tina Beck) of Stromsburg; and her sister Bonnie Senff of Bradshaw. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two great grandchildren on the way and one step-grandchild.
