He was predeceased by: his parents, Olaf "Fredrick" Yungdahl and Hazel "Arloa" Yungdahl (Daey); his wife Phyllis (Stratton); his parents-in-law, Ivan and Ruth Stratton; his brother Elwyn Yungdahl; and his brothers-in-law, Gordon Starr, Gregg Abbott and Lee Schroeder.

He is survived by: his children, Andrea Dunham of York, Yancy Yungdahl (Jodi) of Tenino, WA, Heath Yungdahl and Wade Yungdahl (Cigi) of Chandler, AZ; his grandchildren, Cody Dunham (Anna) of Lincoln, NE, Sydnee Scheinost (Mike) of Ceresco, Trevor Yungdahl (Hannah) of Tenino, WA, Maci Todd (Cameron) of Tumwater, WA, Austin Yungdahl (Brooklyn) of Chandler, AZ, Cheyenne of Chandler, AZ, Braden of Chandler, AZ, Cooper of Chandler, AZ and Turner Yungdahl of Chandler, AZ; his great grandchildren, Maren Dunham, Tyler Scheinost, Layne Scheinost, Madilyn Yungdahl, Abigail Yungdahl, Audrey Yungdahl, Jackson Todd, Hunter Yungdahl and Hensley Yungdahl; his sister Dora Starr of Tucson, AZ; and his sisters-in-law, Donna Yungdahl of Stromsburg, Barbara Schroeder of Chandler, AZ, Elaine Abbott of Branson, MO and Sandra Ewert (Willie) of Chandler, AZ. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
