He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph F. Sabatka and Anastasia Sabatka (Daisy); his wife Melissa Ann Ross; his son Justin; and his siblings, Albert, Bernard, Joseph (Theresa), Beatrice Schummer (Norbert), Josephine Horinek (Raymond) and Thresa.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Ainsley Richard and Stetson Riley; his mother-in-law June Ross; his siblings-in-law, Ron Boardman, Robert Ross and Marcia Ehmke; his nephews, Leonard and Lavern Schummer; his niece Loretta Wiess (Richard); his son Joel of Stratton, NE; his siblings-in-law, Delpha Sis of Atwood, KS, Norma Stanley of Plattsmouth, NE, Shirley Boardman of Seward, NE, Diane Ross of Murray, NE and Gary Ehmke of Syracuse, NE.; his daughter-in-law Tasha Schroder (Aaron) of North Platte, NE.; his grandsons, Ainsley Schroder and Stetson Schroder of North Platte, NE.; and his close friend Sandy Thompson. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, cousins.
