He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Ownby and Mae Carrie Schoenauer (Tetzlaff); his sister Judy Vinzant; his brother-in-law Don Vinzant; and his grandson Lawrence Robert Schoenauer III.
He is survived by: his former wife Martha Gilbert; his wife Tammy Walkenshaw; and his children, Romona Dawn Miner (Ross) of Madison Heights, MI, Larry Schoenauer (Natalie) of South Detroit, MI, Diane Bohochik (Paul) of Stratton, NE, Dana Sandmeier (Anthony) of Highmore, SD and Zach Schoenauer (Sunni) of Slidell, LA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
