With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilma M. Nieveen of Sterling, Nebraska, who passed away on June 29, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Remmers and Minnie Remmers (Muhlhausen); her husband Nanco Nieveen; her son Kelvin; and her brother Marvin Remmers.
She is survived by: her sons, Wesley Nieveen of Los Gatos, CA and Thomas Nieveen (Colleen) of Sterling; and her grandchildren, Cheryl Hazen of St. Louis, Samantha Catcott (Kalli) of Boston, Derek Nieveen (Cate) of Lakeville, MN, Chris Nieveen (Lydia) of Seward, Mathew Nieveen of Renton, WA, Brandon Nieveen (Victoria) of St. Peters, MO, Cathryn Ortiz (Jeremy) of Marietta, GA and Jenna Pelchat (Mason) of Johnson.
A memorial has been established to the family's choice with Carol Pope and Peggy Parde in charge.
