He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth E. Straube; his parents, Clark Salomons and Nettie Salomons (Hartog); his son-in-law Bruce Fink; his siblings, Delmar Salomons, Eda Weber (Fred), Kathryn Weber (Harry) and Marjorie Hazen (Ora); his parents-in-law, Godfrey and Agnes Straube (Rulla); and his siblings-in-law, Martha Brinkman (Donald), Mildred Harms and Richard Straube (Nora).
He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Dorn (Myron) of Adams and Lorie Fink (Steve Gillham) of Firth; his grandchildren, Kyle Dorn (Andrea) of Adams, Erin Dorn of Adams, Kayla Waris (Mo) of Lincoln and Kelly Fink (Avery) of Lincoln; his great grandchildren, Deighton and Dempsey Dorn; his close friend Parker Gillham; and his siblings-in-law, Bonnalyn Salomons of Lincoln, Dorothy Johnson (Dale) of Wahoo and Eddie Harms of Syracuse. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
