He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Heusman and Tressa Heusman (Topp); his wife Barbara Housel; his grandson Jesse Brammeier; and his great grandchild Jaxon Menagh.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Heusman (Janet), Dale Heusman (Debbie), David Heusman (Sharon), Brenda Brammeier (Bob), Kevin Heusman (Dottie), Doug Heusman (Andrea) and Kaye Heusman (Chris Beaver); his sisters, Sylvia Remminga (Al) and Twila "Jean" Wusk (Roger); and his sisters-in-law, LaVay Parrish and Mary Heusman. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established to the family's choice.
