He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Hansen and Bertha Nitz Hansen; his brother Marvin Hansen; his parents-in-law, Harm and Evalene Harms; and his siblings-in-law, Donna Gadeken, Paul Grotrian and Kenneth Gadeken.
He is survived by: his wife Harlene Hansen of Sterling; his children, Diane Rhodes (Tom) of Lincoln, Shari Green (Rob) of Firth and Wayne Hansen (Beth) of Sterling; his grandchildren, Corey Collins (Sarah), Caitlin Moser (Nate), Christy Collins (Derek), Kaiya Green (Jen), Jacob Green (Quinn), Kyle Hansen (Jessica), Amy Jensen (Steve) and Kari Gray (James); his great grandchildren, Clayton, Zoey, Henry, Grace, Ruby and Hunter; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Harms (Sally), Dolores Grotrian and Carol Hall (Larry). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established to the family's choice.
