He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Fisher; his children, Sherri Weiss (Steve) of Sterling, NE, Robyn Dunlap of Sterling, NE, Bill Corning of Dorchester, NE, Michael Corning (Gayle) of Illinois and Kathy Rice (Kyle) of Lincoln, NE; his siblings, Donna Fibelstad of North Dakota, Connie Doll (John) of North Dakota, Jane Wright of Virginia, Ranetta Walker, Shelly See Walker and Melvin Vietz (Beverly) of Iowa; and his sister-in-law Esther Vietz of North Dakota. He is also survived by grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
