He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Verne William and Ruth Elizabeth Curtis (Mead); his wife Barbara Jean Chappell; his children, Tony, Robert, Kurt, Kristie Dierking (Keith) of Nebr and Bill Curtis of Nebr; and his grandchildren, Andrew Dierking (Meredith), Lisa Curtis, Jordan Dierking (Alexis), Donna Curtis, Maisie Curtis, Shelbi Curtis, Katie Curtis, Justyn Curtis (Kiana), Hannah Dierking Sleyster (Luke), Brandon Curtis and Conner Curtis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Angel Tree Program to help the children of the community.
