He was predeceased by: his parents, James Peterson and Lilian Marie Peterson; his former wife Verna Birth; and his siblings, Donald Peterson, Jim Peterson and Jerry Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Chris; his children, Angela Horton (Nicholas) of Parker, Colorado and Matt Peterson (Christel) of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin.; his grandchildren, Alex Horton (Olivia) of Goodland Kansas, Shyanne Clark (Tyler) of Wayland, Michigan, Tristan, Kenaniah Horton, Jeremiah, Elliana and Haley Peterson; his great grandchildren, Bella, Castiel Horton and Jesse Clark; and his sisters, Joan Nielson and Jean Scott.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Gandy Community Church.
